The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it really is alarmed about the higher quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area each day. The support level produced for intervention encounters a higher inflow sassa status of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough with the Workplace SRD to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to allow the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
